How does on-base housing work at Luke?

On-base family housing at Luke is privatized, which means it is owned and operated by the privatized housing partner, Luke Family Homes, rather than by the government. The application process generally requires a housing application, AF Form 4422, and a copy of your PCS orders, coordinated with the installation's housing partner and the HMO. Unaccompanied first-term airmen arrange dormitory assignment with their First Sergeant and the Unaccompanied Housing Office, typically well before arrival.

No housing approval is promised or implied here. The application, waitlist, and assignment processes are run by the housing partner and the HMO under current Air Force procedures, and the only reliable answers come from those offices for your specific situation.

Where do you stay temporarily before housing is ready?

Temporary lodging on the installation is provided by the Fighter Country Inn, the base's temporary lodging facility, located at 7012 N Bong Lane, Building 660. Furnished units with kitchens and laundry are typical, and pet policies and availability should be confirmed directly. Unaccompanied, dorm-bound first-term airmen are not authorized temporary lodging assistance, per the published guidelines, and should arrange dormitory assignment through their command.

What else should you verify when you arrive?
