How does Rewarding Heroes pricing work?

A straight answer on the discounted structure for qualifying community heroes, how the program works, and what it does not do.

The short answer

Rewarding Heroes' standard structure is $8,000 per applicable transaction side for sale prices up to and including $550,000, and 2% of the full sale price above $550,000. Fees and services are governed by the applicable written agreement.

What the program is

Rewarding Heroes is a transparent discounted real estate service program for qualifying community heroes, including law enforcement, fire and rescue, first responders, teachers, school administration, doctors, nurses, border patrol, utility workers, and military. It is offered through Andrew Texidor of Clearly Sold and brokered by HomeSmart.

A service program, not cash-back

Rewarding Heroes is a real estate service program, not cash-back or a rebate arrangement. If an unrepresented purchaser comes through the listing-side marketing and systems, an additional transaction-management fee may apply as specified in the listing agreement. It is never automatic, only applies when the listing agreement specifies it in writing, and it does not create dual agency.

Eligibility is separate from financing

Hero eligibility for the service does not establish eligibility for a loan, grant, or assistance program, which have separate requirements.
